Housing is available for entry-level registered nurses assigned to night or evening shifts (FSH ONLY)
Special risk retirement is available to nurses working in forensic units only. Special risk retirement means individuals receive a higher percentage of retirement income.(FSH select units and NFETC)
This position qualifies for a State Tuition Fee Waiver. Earn a BSN, MSN, ARNP, etc. and the state will pay 6 credit hours/semester at any public Florida college.

Florida State Hospital- located in Chattahoochee in the Panhandle of Florida. Operates as a civil and forensic facility. Chattahoochee is located on the Apalachicola River and a short drive to the beautiful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.
Northeast Florida State Hospital- located in Macclenny about 30 miles west of Jacksonville. NEFSH operates as a civil facility.
North Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center- located in Gainesville, home of the University of Florida Gators. NFETC operates as a forensic facility. Gainesville is about a 2 hour drive from Orlando (Disney World, Universal Studios) and Tampa.
