Our child/adolescent inpatient unit is looking for a Nurse Manager. Someone with prior work experience in Behavioral Health, specifically with kids and adolescents. A candidate with strong, proven management skills and creative problem solving abilities would do well in this role. This unit is located on the sprawling campus of the Rogers Behavioral Health System headquarters located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of overall nursing care to patients in the 22 bed unit, for patients ranging in age from 6 -18 years of age. The current staffing mix consists of very experienced behavioral health RNs and novice RNs eager and open to mentoring and growth opportunities, all very dedicated to this patient population.

In This Role You Will:
24/7 accountability of unit operations while adhering to all policies & procedures.
Monitors and assures the unit’s compliance, applicable standards, regulations and laws; assists in assuring that all State and Federal requirements are met; plans, organizes and directs facility functions and activities to achieve objectives and comply with regulatory requirements. Prepares reports, maintains records, compiles statistics, etc. as required.
Provide an engaged management style and be consistently present and engaged on the unit.
Supervise all nursing personnel.
Delegate daily work assignments as pertains to nursing personnel.
In conjunction with Director of Nursing, assure that nursing services are available and are consistent with overall client care, staffing ratios and program policies and procedures.
Maintain clinical competencies of nursing staff, including training.
Review care plans weekly to ensure that appropriate care is being given.
Demonstrate good skills in all forms of communication. Works well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
Must have a Wisconsin RN license.
At least 2 years of experience in a managerial position in a behavioral health setting
