Our LTACH nursing is a specialty that exists to care for patients who are experiencing life-threatening health crises within a patient / family centered model of care. Our critical care/ acute care RN (CCRN) work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide advanced coordination of patient care.
Full Time Opportunities – 12 hr shifts available, day and nights, 1 weekend a month
Per Diem Opportunities - 8 or 12 hr. shifts available all shifts available.

Job Summary: The critical care RN in our long-term acute care Specialty Hospital promotes and restores patient's health. The CCRN is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members and for providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends and families. Delegates and evaluates care assigned to CNAs to meet acute patient care needs.
Gathers physiological and psychosocial data on admission and at regular intervals, analyzes and validates data from multiple sources to make complex decisions about priorities of care in life threatening and non-life threatening situations.
Sets goals to organize assignment; collaborates with patients and their families on patient's desired goals.
Acts on physician's orders in a timely manner, while developing independent nursing interventions appropriate to the acute patient's response to care. Documents interventions and the responses in order to improve systems that support patient care.
Minimum Experience Requirements: 2+ years of critical care, intensive care, or telemetry experience preferred. ICU, MICU, SICU highly desired
Minimum Education Requirements: BSN required.
License/Certification Requirements: Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license and ACLS certification required. PCCN or CCRN certification preferred. CPR certification required. Successful completion of a critical care course required.
