Clinic Manager, Exempt Full Time Position, M-F, D.O.E The Clinic Manager works collaboratively with other management staff to ensure efficient and effective internal operations of the clinic. Some duties of the Clinic Manager include:
Supervises clinic team members and conducts staff meetings/trainings.
Provides professional level nursing service with a focus on quality activities within the daily operations of the health center.
Participates in quality meetings and implements quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
Oversees and monitors clinical data collection within the electronic medical record to ensure proper collection for reporting.
Functions as the health center’s Employee Health Nurse and oversees all OSHA compliance activities.
Serves as Safety Officer and oversees emergency planning activities.
Maintains an updated Clinical Manual including clinical policies, procedures, and protocol regarding patient care, tracking, and data collection.
Knowledge and Skills:
High degree of competency in professional patient care, triage, and assessment skills.
Strong leadership skills and well-developed personnel management abilities required.
Excellent computer/word processing skills and experience in electronic medical records required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Work Experience: Five years of nursing experience required. Two years of nurse management experience preferred. Two years of nursing experience working in community health and/or provider's office desirable.
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidate must have a current unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Montana and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Job Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and sit for long periods of time as walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear. Must be able to reach, push or pull with hands and arms and be able to have digital dexterity. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move patients; weights will vary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. There is a high risk for exposure to blood and body fluids.
