Providence is calling a Clinical Nurse Specialty Supervisor ( Full Time / Variable Shift ) to our Facey Urgent Care location in Vallencia, CA.
In this position you will:
Under the general direction of the Clinical Nurse Specialty Director, supervise and coordinates the patient care support staff.
Develops and implements quality improvement programs.
Ensures efficient allocation and use of resources.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or comparable combination of education and/or experience.
Current California RN license.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certication.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and provide daily supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Two years nursing staff supervisory experience in a patient care delivery setting.
UR/QA knowledge along with knowledge in the development of protocols.
Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) strongly recommended.
