Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse \(1\.0 FTE, Days\) to work in the Pain Services clinic at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process\.
In this position you will:
Manage the care of patients receiving fluoro guided interventional procedures, including but not limited to pre\-procedure assessment, post\-procedure recovery, and patient education
Utilize skills in IV access and procedural sedation
Triage phone calls coming in to the Center
Manage the care of patients with an implantable intrathecal pump device; post\-operative care, pump refills and programming
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree \(BSN\) from an accredited school of nursing or must actively pursue and attain a BSN within six years of hire
Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Current Basic Life Support Certification \(BLS\)
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support \(ACLS\) or obtain within six months of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience with Peripheral IV Insertion
Experience with Conscious/Procedural Sedation
Experience working with a care team that includes other RNs, Physicians, Medical Assistants and other allied health and support professionals\.
