Reports to Chief Nursing Officer.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate infection control, prevention, and surveillance programs as approved by the Infection Control Committee.
Works in conjunction with CNO, physicians and nurses to assure compliance with the Texas Department of State Health Services standards, OSHA requirements, JC standards.
Track employee illness for infection control purposes.
Assess patient care and need for consultation.
Assist HR Director with administration of the Occupational Health/Work Injury Program.
Monitor the Employee immunization program.
Provide wellness information / programs for employees.
