JOB SUMMARY: With previous demonstrated project management and health insurance program experience, the Product Design Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining consumer-centric product benefits, programs and services that support optimal health outcomes and member experience, by leveraging insights provided by market research and clinical management and helping to drive achievement of the organizational strategic objectives.
This position is critical to both day-to-day product design management as well as development of innovative benefit and program design constructs.
Will work in a collaborative and positive work environment, while being challenged to think differently about how we deliver and finance healthcare.
Reports to the Director of Product Development and Market Research
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Must have working knowledge of health insurance regulatory landscape and requirements. Demonstrates strong analytical, problem solving, strategic thinking and organizational skills. Demonstrates computer skills including strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio software programs. Demonstrates ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment. Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrates excellent project management skills. Demonstrates excellent presentation skills, including strong graphical representation skills. Demonstrated use of current and innovative research, analytic, and presentation methods, is considered desirable

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum of five years of related product or marketing experience required. Health insurance product development experience preferable. Healthcare and/or health insurance industry knowledge and experience required. Market Research experience is a plus
