Our Ambulatory Service is a fast-paced environment, has multi-disciplinary units and requires the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful and emergency situations. Expert assessment skills, clinical judgment, self-confidence, airway and pain management expertise, attention to detail and peri-operative, and post-operative skills are essential to this position. Registered Nurse in Post Anesthesia Care Unit will be required to provide care for patients before and after surgery. This position entails experience in surgical procedures, management of airways, pain control, hemodynamic monitoring and be committed to the care of others. The Registered Nurse must have an advanced knowledge of anesthesia, physical assessments, and understanding specific patient populations including the elderly; critical care nursing skills such as obtaining venous access, inserting tubes, positioning patient and dressing changes. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently as a team member and leader. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (Emergency call back as deemed necessary by the Medical Center Director) Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
