As a Nurse Practitioner / RN you will:
Under indirect supervision, providesindependent primary care in a variety of clinical settings to a specifiedpopulation of non-emergency patients.
Provides consultation and advice toothers as a highly specialized practitioner.
Assesses plans, coordinates anddelivers patient care in conjunction with the physician and consulting asneeded.
Performs assessments on assignedpatients.
Performs physical exam includingappropriate laboratory procedures, screening of gross physical signs andsymptoms.
Elicits and records health, familyand psychosocial history.
Collaborates with physician toinitiate, record, and implement a plan of care.
Plans for diagnostic workup andregulation and adjustment of treatments and medications as evidenced bydocumentation and feedback.
Documents progress and providesnecessary information on records for use in the practice.
Initiates referrals if indicated asevidenced by documentation and feedback.
Participates in and supports qualityassurance/CQI programs and processes.
Serves on standing and ad hocquality teams as required.
Demonstrates commitment toorganizational goals.
Attends all mandatory in-services asdirected.
Consistently maintains completeconfidentiality of all medical, financial, employee, computer or othersensitive material which may jeopardize the privacy of others.
Demonstrates orientation towardexcellent customer service by conducting daily activities, communications, andinteractions in a cooperative, positive, and professional manner.
