About the Pulmonary team at St. Luke's University Health Network:
Pulmonary is a medical subspecialty that allows for a variety of outpatient opportunities seeing routine follow-ups, complex hospital follow-ups, and sick visits. It is combined with inpatient opportunities too, as well as a higher level of acuity given our patient population. We also have opportunities for participation in procedures, research, education, and professional development opportunities, if desired.
The Pulmonary team at St. Luke's has an amazing team of 30+ physicians and advanced practitioners that work very closely together to care for our complex patients. Our physicians are extremely supportive of our advanced practitioners and we have an orientation process to allow for onboarding to our department. Once onboarded/acclimated, our APs are given independence in practice, but also agree that our physicians are always available and eager to collaborate as needed. The AP's work very collaboratively on a daily basis to cover inpatient/hospital needs, but function more independently in the outpatient setting.
This opportunity will primarily cover both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary service needs at the St. Luke's Upper Bucks Campus.
