Atlantic Health System has an opportunity for a dedicated Nursing Assistant in the Renal/Med/Surg Unit at our Morristown Medical Center location. This is a full-time position, with a shift of 3PM-11AM including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
- Assisting patients with daily activities
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Administering basic treatments
- Helping to ensure a safe care environment
- Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
- Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills
Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BLS Preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
