Registered Nurse - Pediatric Heart Center Clinic - Full Time/Days

SUMMARY: This position is accountable to independently manage the care of complex patients, deliver patient care at a proficient level, and serve as a resource. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's policies.

The Willson Heart Center at Valley Children's provides the highest level of pediatric cardiac care in Central California - all in a family-centered environment. Our pediatric cardiologists offer advanced technology and state-of-the-art cardiac care for children with heart disease and heart defects, including congenital cardiovascular disease, pediatric-acquired cardiovascular disease and heart failure. Our Cardiothoracic Surgery Program, whose surgeons are from Stanford University School of Medicine, is part of one of the largest pediatric cardiothoracic surgical heart programs in North America.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; D) Minimum of six months to one year of experience is preferred. Bilingual skills desirable. Pay Range: RN I - $33.65 - $61.20 / RNII - RN IV $36.00 - $61.20

POSITION DETAILS: Full time,72 hours per pay period, clinic open Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm.

PAY RANGE: $36.00 - $62.20
