We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Motility Disorders team at our DaLD Clinic within University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN!
Our team is a dynamic, academic GI practice where you can work collaboratively alongside nationally recognized experts, learn new things every day, and be a part of a compassionate, team-oriented group that integrates 3 missions (clinical, education and research) into the day-to-day work of all team members.
Position Details:
Full-time, Day Shift
Open to 5 8-hour shifts (8:00am-5:00pm) or 4 10-hour shifts (8:00am-6:30pm or 7:00am-5:30pm)
No weekends, holidays, or call
100% outpatient
No procedures
Work closely with 1-2 physicians
Autonomous role, but may collaborate closely with Motility and Advanced Endoscopy APPs
Responsibilities:
Evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of GI patients specifically with Motility conditions in a collaborative practice practicing with Motility physicians
Initially will start out with independent clinic sessions seeing all return patients
While learning the subspeciality, APP will be seeing new patients alongside physician
Qualifications:
Master's Degree required
Must be board eligible or board certified
Must be licensed or license eligible in Indiana
PA, FNP, or ACNP certification required
Prior GI or Internal Medicine experience preferred
