St. Luke's is seeking qualified nursing students to join our SNAP program!

The St. Luke's Nurse Apprenticeship Program (SNAP) experience is designed to provide a supportive, positive, acute care experience for students to apply critical thinking and nursing knowledge while functioning in the role of a nurse apprentice/intern. The purpose is to build relationships, gain knowledge and exposure to the benefits of a nursing career at St. Luke's Health System.

Two pathways to choose - Unit-based or floating!

We will have some positions that are unit-based in any of our Treasure Valley Hospitals, or float pool positions that travel to all 3 hospitals.

Time Commitment:

Full time: May 2024 - July 2024 (Program starts in May for 10-15 weeks dependent on school curriculum)

Flex schedule: August 2024 - May 2025 (One shift a month)

Program requirements:

• Completed junior year of a four-year accredited baccalaureate program in nursing OR completed the 1st year of an accredited ADN Program.
• Letter from the Idaho State Board of Nursing verifying eligibility.
• Current AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers certificate.
• 2 year commitment

Career Pathing - Go from SNAP to STAR!

Once you have completed your first year as a SNAP, your next opportunity would have you apply and move to our STAR Residency Program! Join all our new graduate RNs in our year-long STAR Residency Program to help you transition from a student nurse to successfully taking a full patient load.

Meridian

The city of Meridian is a suburb of Boise located approximately 10 miles from downtown Boise. Meridian is a premier place to live and work with just under 90,000 residents. This clean and attractive city is framed by mountains and has a pleasant mild, 4-season climate and excellent commerce. The city offers a wide selection of nearby recreational activities such as skiing, 130 miles of hiking trails and 25 miles of paths which link 850 acres of parks. Meridian offers premier shopping, dining and entertainment.

Nampa

The city of Nampa, in Canyon County, is located on the west end of the beautiful Treasure Valley.
