RN-Surgery/OR PRN Lander
DescriptionThe Circulating RN will function as the primary patient advocate and ensure the surgical arena is safe and sterile. Ensures the sterile field is not compromised during the procedure. Conducts the surgical safety checklist (i.e. valid history and physical, valid consents), time out requirements, and hand off communication. The registered nurse will assist in care and maintenance of department supplies, equipment, and facilities.The Scrub RN is responsible for selection and handling of instrumentation and supplies during the surgical procedure.
