We’re looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Physician Assistant who wants to practice meaningful, integrated care alongside a collaborative team. You’ll work in a Patient-Centered Medical Home model, partnering closely with primary care and behavioral health to support whole-person care.
What You’ll Do
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status exams
Diagnose and manage a range of mental health conditions (depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc.)
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications
Collaborate closely with primary care providers and behavioral health team members to deliver integrated care
Provide crisis intervention and ongoing therapy as appropriate
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Participate in quality improvement and Patient-Centered Medical Home initiatives
Serve as a clinical resource and advocate within the community

Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
Active South Carolina license as an APRN or Physician Assistant
National certification (PMHNP-BC preferred; NCCPA certification required for PAs)
Psychiatric certification or CAQ in Psychiatry preferred
2+ years of psychiatric experience strongly preferred
